Commission Requests

Thank you for your interest in commissioning me!

Please read through this entire page before requesting a personal commission. When you are ready, please fill out a request form.

The required information must be fully and clearly provided. By submitting an application you agree to all terms and conditions listed below.

Terms and Conditions

Pricing

Price estimates are in USD. Complexity, backgrounds, and additional characters will incur additional charge.

The artist requires at least 50% of commission price as a non-refundable down payment before the sketching process will begin. If the client prefers, they may pay in full before the sketching process. The artist will only begin work on the commission upon receiving payment. Upon completion, the remaining payment will be required before delivery of the finished work. All sales are final.

Payments are not refundable by the client at any point. These payments cover my time, services, and the work itself. The only instance where a refund may be granted is due to an unlikely event in the artist’s personal circumstances that make completing the commission impossible.

Process

Upon accepting your application, I will reach out to you via the e-mail you enter in the Google Form. Please have prepared visual references (character sheets, art, Pinterest pins, et cera) in .JPGs, as well as any written thoughts you have about your commission such as poses, setting, character personalities and backgrounds. If you are sending many picture references, please compress them into a .zip archive before sending them over e-mail. Most of these details are also covered in the Google Form above.

From there, I will send you a sketch for you to look at, for sketch commissions you will receive a thumbnail. Once approved, major changes to the sketch/thumbnail will not be allowed.

After the sketch is approved, I will begin working on the commission. Only one minor revision is allowed without additional charges (the prices varying on each revision, based on total price). After 3 cumulative revisions I will not entertain any more.

If I have missed a detail clearly shown or stated in the visual or written references, a revision will be made free of charge and not counting towards your total revisions. If the details are not clearly shown or stated, the revision will either count toward your cumulative revisions or will be declined depending on intensity. For this reason it’s important to clearly communicate your ideas in the sketching stage.

When the commission is complete, full payment is required before delivery of the high-res, non-watermarked commission. I reserve the right to publish finished work on any social media or portfolio. If a commission is intended to be private only, this must be communicated at the beginning of the commission.

Updates, Revisions, & Cancellations

Commission completion speed may vary depending on my health, life circumstances, queue size, and travel. I will communicate with the client as soon as I become aware of possible delays or other changes to schedule.

You are welcome to ask for occasional, watermarked updates and I am happy to share your excitement, but please be considerate. Disrespectful or harrassing behavior will result in a cancellation of your commission, retention of your down payment, and blacklisting from future inquiries. I reserve the right to cancel the commission at any point for any reason. This includes poor communication, indecisiveness, health issues, and more. If the commission is cancelled by the client before the sketch is made, a full refund may be given.

Crypto, NFTs

The client may not use or reproduce or mint the commissioned work in any form as a non-fungible token (NFT) or any other blockchain product. The client may not use the commissioned work for any advertising, profits, or similar of NFTs, blockchains, and cryptocurrency. This extends to all of my artwork past, present, and future.

Copyright & Reproduction

All rights to commissioned work belong to the artist and cannot be redistributed by any other party without written permission and any appropriate additional contracts. The client may only use the commissioned work for personal use. The client may post and share the commission only with full credit to the artist and may not remove any watermark or use/reproduce the work for any commercial purposes. The client may not ever remove the artist’s signature or watermark from any sketch, work-in-progress, or finished work.

The artist reserves the right to use the commissioned work for commercial or advertising purposes at any point as the image's copyright owner. The client may not reproduce the commissioned work without permission or use the commissioned work for commercial purposes without explicitly purchasing the appropriate rights to the image. If the client intends to purchase commercial rights for the commission, this must be clearly stated at the beginning of the correspondence.
